Bern
The capital of Switzerland and seat of the Swiss government is a lovely city with the old town being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its central location, the city of Bern is a perfect gateway to the Alps and the many interesting regions of the canton. These include the rural Emmental, the Bernese Oberland with its impressive mountain scenery and many famous winter sports resorts.
